Training Courses
The ARES Edmonton region group is dedicated to training its members to be proficient in all basic emergency radio skills. While there will be many opportunities to learn about a wide range of aspects of emergency communication (See below for advanced courses), the group considers that the following core training are necessary for basic proficiency.
It is expected that all members of the group would complete these 5 core courses as soon as possible after joining the group and certainly within a 1 year period. The core courses will be run every couple of months or so, as required.
