Weekly Net - ARES Edmonton Region
The weekly ARES Edmonton region group net
starts each Sunday at 2000 hours local time on the
VE6UV 147.090+ MHz 114.8hz CTCSS (ARES
Ch#1).
After announcements a check-in net will occur on an announced
frequency/channel.
As of the 28 Feb 2009 the VE6UV repeater will change from 114.8hz tone to a 100.0hz tone!
Commencing @
7:30pm, there will also be an 80m ARES - Alberta region check-in
net on 3.765 LSB.
This net is to encourage stations to setup and test their stations
for NVIS, in the event of an ARES response where normal 2m
communications are not available into Alberta.
